so tomorrow is big trash day. we're getting rid of cat pee couches and chairs and a ton of crap from the basement. it may literally be a ton. things will be much nicer and practically empty. when i first got a house i began collecting all kinds of stuff, just because i had room to store practically anything. now i'm coming to the conclusion: if you don't use it and it's not of great value get rid of it.

in latest news. i never update, also my aunt Dolores has moved into the one bedroom apartment in my house. score.

planned an all back roads route to lake michigan beach today. ended up traveling for about 8 hours back and forth. i'm totally exhausted, but in a couple of weeks it should all be worth it.

so i popped a tire on the way to galesburg last saturday. Becca and I were helping Matt and Hope Bonham clean mold off things they salvaged from their apartment. got a tube from QK here in town and was able to ride around last night. bought some stuff for my maxi, going to put on a single speed engine after my 2 speed blew up.

other than cleaning house thats about all i have going on.

so on st. Patrick's day i went for a moped ride, it was pretty cool, had some people join on the way, some drop out and on the way to drop charles off at his house my pedal fell off right in front of the old rocket star. so i went back to grab it and the door was open so i ducked inside. some dudes were painting and i introduced myself. they said they were going to open a shop w video games, movies and comics, and i was like you should sell coffee. i guess 100 other people already told them that so they'll probably have some too. so we were chatting about the place and its history and he tells me he's going to take out the wall w my window in it, and i was like hey i made that, can i have it? and he was like sure, so i got my window back. both pieces. it's chillin in my living room now, need to go to habitat to get some cheep molding to turn into frames then i can hang them in the window or on the wall. i'm super stoked.

so i have a cold, need to do dishes, had a great christmas thanks for asking, saw lots of friends and made some new ones, stayed up all night, slept all day, miraculously got a surprise day off when i really needed it instead of when i really needed the money, got frozen, almost got blown off the highway, found new music, enjoyed old music, was reunited with long lost relatives, buried the hatchet with an ex, watched some critters for out of town friends and as of yet have no new years plans. its been a crazy week.

i'm alive i just never post. fortunately work has decided to help out with this. this is the 4th week I've had pretty much every day off. it's cool cuz i can do stuff like sleep in till 7pm and mess around online all day, but i get the feeling its going to really suck when the bills start showing up. i filled out an application with the library, i know a few folks who work there (like 8) and i think they are pretty cool, so i hope it works out, and i'd be able to walk to work so that'd be cool to.

the house hasn't blown up yet, and the cats haven't peed on anything in a while. still no running moped, but i'm close to fixing one, and i'm assured my running moped in chicago is safe and waiting. meh, thats about it. i'm insulating the windows with plastic and intend to start on that attic with the foam boards today. things are pretty chill, hit me up with a phone call or text if you're bored. i gots time.

so a number of my friends are getting married this summer. i have a suggestion for a band to play your reception.



think about it. seriously, this would be awesome.

Today I got new tubes and what I expect will be a comfortable seat for my bicycle. The salesman suggested for long trips down the south haven trail I could get another seat that has adjustable firmness with an air pump, and I thought, there's no way in hell I'll ever ride a bicycle to south haven. but I guess people get bikes to do that sort of thing, so for someone it was a good suggestion. I don't know, I think it'll be cool to be more like the crazy bike messengers.
